&lt;p&gt;The project is saying that street harassment is not okay. That feeling entitled to treat and speak to women any type of way, is not okay. That demanding a woman’s attention is not okay. That intruding on a woman’s space and thoughts is not okay. That women should be able to walk to the train, to the grocery store, to school - without having to cross the street to avoid the men that she sees already eyeing her as she approaches. That making women feel objectified, sexualized simply because they are women, is not okay. That grabbing a woman’s wrist to force her to speak to you is not okay. That requesting for a woman to “smile for you” is not okay - because women are not outside on the street for the purpose of entertaining and pleasing men. That it’s quite possible women are wonderful, happy, intelligent human beings that simply want to move through out the world comfortably and safely while wearing their face however the hell they want to. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A lot of people will not agree with this project. A lot of people, men AND women, will not understand it. And that’s okay. This project is not asking for there to be zero interaction between men and women in public spaces - it’s asking for the interaction to be respectful and safe. This project is not to persuade women to feel offended. Rather, this project is for those who do feel offended by unwelcome aggressive treatment from men. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It’s my hope that some women will walk pass these wheat pastes and feel empowered. That men will at least take notice and consider what the posters are saying. And that the conversation about street harassment will continue to be enlivened and hopefully produce some sort of solution. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;br/&gt; So lemme get this straight… Being friendly and smiling telling a woman she should smile more is now intrusive and shows she’s there for entertainment? Some of the shit people fight for smh. Touching is one thing, being rude while talking is another. But asking a woman to smile because smiles are great is a nono also?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;so you realize forcing your touch on me is intrusive but telling me to smile because you need someone to smile for whatever reason you can think of isn’t intrusive? when someone is smiling it’s because they wanted to fucking smile, an absence of a smile is not an indicator of anything other than that person is not fucking smiling - why is that a problem? why do men feel the need to control womens bodies? &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;If you’ve been reading my blog at SheSOFly.com, you’ll know that I have been on a quest for my purpose since about week two in my juice fast. Although I always knew that I had a purpose of some sort to fulfill, it was not really something I set out to do while fasting.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Once I felt this thirst for enlightenment, I set out looking for life coaches, trying to read different books, talking with a friend or two here and there because my mind was racing all over the place. There was this huge ‘pull’ in the universe that was forcing me to sit back and examine my life as a whole…and not just the physical but emotional and mental cleansing as well.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;After a while, I started to get random messages from people that I don’t know, and the messages were always centered around the same thing. I would always say thanks and then respond to the contents of their email/text/FB message, but would also notice that I felt a weird sense of ‘joy’ when I’d hit send. And it dawned on me (after this happened repeatedly), that maybe this was the whisper that Oprah was talking about. Maybe these messages, combined with my gut was the answer that I was looking for.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So then I started to say “I THINK this is what God wants me to do.” But with every time I said ‘think,’ I’d get yet another message that was even louder than the first. I questioned a lot of it, thinking to myself that there is no way in the world that “I” would be asked to do what He was asking. I knew nothing about it, had never EVER thought about doing it…it was something foreign and unreal to me.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A few hours ago, I sent out a series of tweets (@MissJia) …..&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Still need that idea person. And I’m still getting a life coach. I don’t eem care that I feel like I’ve figured it out. Want that ear. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;blockquote&gt;&lt;span&gt;Just need to make sure that some of the decisions I’m making aren’t because I feel overwhelmed at times. That’s about it. &lt;/span&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;A lot of times, you can speak to people and they basically sit, listen, and confirm. I need a “nah, not that” or something….&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;At this very moment was a moment when I felt doubt again. I was really questioning if it was the right move. Although I wouldn’t say that I was ‘hopeless’ in that moment, I absolutely will say that I was doubtful…not of my ability but really about if it was the right decision.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;And then &lt;strong&gt;&lt;a href="https://twitter.com/___CYNT" title="one of my followers" target="_blank"&gt;one of my followers&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; sent the above photo, which is a screen shot of my horoscope for today*. You see what it says, right? People have varying opinions about horoscopes and God, but my beliefs aren’t usually the same as others. I stopped reading my horoscope about a year or so ago because I felt that I was becoming too ‘dependent’ on them to govern my day. But in that moment, that screen shot was sent to me and it made me feel better. It’s seriously almost like I’m being yelled at at this point.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I know that God makes no mistakes, but there are times that (due to mistakes in my past where I’ve disrespected myself and hurt a lot of people) I feel as though I’m not worthy of anything ‘special.’ I feel as though I disappointed a lot of people in so many ways and that God isn’t happy with that. Even though you’re taught as a Christian that God doesn’t turn His back on you, no matter what, there’s still a huge part of me at times that feels unworthy of His grace. Like…if He were to EVER tell me that He was done with me, I’d ‘get it.’&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Nonetheless, I’ve had a few doubts in my head as of late, and I’m working on getting out of my own way on that one. &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Raw Nut Meat Tacos &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;(high raw, gluten-free, no-oil, under 30 minutes)&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/em&gt;Lettuce leaves&lt;br/&gt;Tomatoes&lt;br/&gt;Avocado, Carrot, Cucumber&lt;br/&gt;Salsa&lt;br/&gt;Whatever you like on your tacos&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Raw Nut Meat&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/em&gt;Makes about 2 cups “meat”&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1 cup almonds, soaked 2 hours&lt;br/&gt;1 cup walnuts, soaked 2 hours&lt;br/&gt;1 tablespoon chili powder&lt;br/&gt;1 tablespoon cumin&lt;br/&gt;1 teaspoon coriander&lt;br/&gt;Dash garlic powder (or fresh garlic to your liking)&lt;br/&gt;Dash cinnamon&lt;br/&gt;Dash cayenne (for a spicy meat)&lt;br/&gt;1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar&lt;br/&gt;1 tablespoon tamari (if you are soy-free use a dash of sea salt to season)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Preparation&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;Nuts can be soaked together. After 2 hours drain nuts. Blend in a food processor (not blender) for about 20-30 seconds to get the nuts chopped well. Add the rest of the meat ingredients and blend, scrapping down the edges of the bowl a few times to incorporate all the ingredients. Blend until your preferred level of chunkiness. I like my meat crumbly and not a smooth paste (see photo). Season with salt if needed.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Pile the meat into the lettuce leaf with toppings and enjoy! &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;After putting it off forever and 12 days, I finally got a chance to listen to The Four Agreements. Although I had heard of the book a WHILE ago (and even own a copy), I didn’t think to give it a real whirl until Nina (@MzGossipGirl on Twitter) mentioned it on her timeline.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Because I’ve spent so much time living in the ‘I’m-too-busy’ world, I decided that it’d be dope if I could listen to the audio while working on orders for you!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Absolutely one of the best decisions I’ve made so far this year. In short, the book gives you four practical, yet affirming ‘agreements’ that one should follow to live a more fulfilling life. I believe that this book can help you learn how to feel better about life in general, how to treat others, and most importantly, how to treat yourself.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I’m also learning that when you get, you give. We live in a society that’s so ‘me’ focused that we oftentimes forget that even the most simple things can greatly impact our neighbor.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;With that being said, I believe that I ‘received’ in my reading of The Four Agreements and now I want to ‘give’ to you. I would like to gift four audio copies of The Four Agreements to four different people (one copy each). How will I choose who gets a copy? Simple! The only thing you’d need to do is shoot me an email with THE FOUR AGREEMENTS in the subject line to shopkillpink@gmail.com.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In that email, I’d like for you to tell me about a current issue that you may be having with living your life to the fullest extent…or maybe a hump you can’t seem to get over so that you can be happy. You don’t have to give EXTREMELY specific, personal examples if you don’t want to (although maybe an excerpt of what you say will be used to announce the winner) but the idea is to seriously evaluate how you’ve managed life, the treatment of others, as well as the treatment of yourself and how you’d use The Four Agreements to totally change it. The more personal examples you’re able to offer, the better though. When the mini excerpts are posted, they will be done anonymously.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So to sum it up:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;-Send an email to shopkillpink@gmail.com with THE FOUR AGREEMENTS in the subject line.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;-In your email, describe one of the pitfalls or ‘attitudes’ that you have that you feel keep you from reaching a point of happiness and how you feel that learning the simple agreements in the book could change you* for the better.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;-You may enter the contest on behalf of someone else and explain why they could benefit from the book. If you’re selected, you’d just need to provide me with their email address for the book’s delivery as well as a note from you so that they know where they got it from and why.&lt;/p&gt;

Although it’s easy to laugh at her and her plight, remember that we all have our vices. Some of us are fortunate enough to move on from them while o&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="text_exposed_show"&gt;thers……Please also keep in mind that she was always her own woman; yes, she may have had publicists and business managers who guided her. But at the end of the day, Whitney’s decisions were her decisions. While many of you won’t change your mind based on what I’m saying, I just have to say….stop blaming one grown adult (Bobby Brown) for what another adult (Whitney Houston) did with themselves. God granted us all the gift of free will, and in that free will, we’re all allowed to make decisions that either heighten our lives or prove to be our downfalls. Whitney &amp; Bobby fed off each other; I don’t want to (especially in THIS time) point a finger at Bobby and say ‘he did this.’ If that were the case, who do YOU blame when you fail a class in college…or make the decision to drink and drive…or when you’re having a bad day? Life is about choices…choices that we’re all allowed to make. Rather than playing the blame game, let’s all take notes from the Four agreements: Be impeccable with your words (b/c they have the ability to hurt), Don’t take things personally (many of you are casting stones against Bobby and being downright ugly; but that really says more about YOU than him), Don’t make assumptions (because making assumptions without asking questions or knowing FACTS makes YOU look foolish), and most importantly…do your best. While you don’t have to emulate Whitney’s life in any way, we can all take comfort in knowing that she did her best while she was here…and that’s provide us with a talent and music that will live on forever. Even though I spend a great deal of time being expressive with opinions that many of you don’t care for, I will say that my one sincere wish is that we all find a purpose in this life so that God can use us just as much as he did Whitney. And that’s all I have to say about that. RIP Whitney Houston &amp; may God provide healing in the fastest way possible to your family.
