So…I attempted to color my hair….
Not ALL of it but just a big chunk so that I could see how it would look.
I chose this brown color by Clairol (one of the ones with the black girl on the front). I looked at the “if your hair is THIS color, expect THIS result” thing and thought I’d be in the clear.
Bitch my hair is the same damn color!
It reminds me of when I was in high school and wanted to get streaks. When she did it (and she was a bonafide colorist), she said that the color of my hair is “hard to lift.” I eventually put like…some blonde streaks in it (myself) but haven’t had anything in it since.
Fuck this.
I just wasted money on a bottle that I didn’t even use all the way AND it didn’t give me an ounce of color.
Maybe I have to blow dry my hair afterwards? I dunno. But I’m sitting with a plastic cap on (conditioner) right now and this is some bullshit.
On another note, my curls are so pretty. I swear that amla powder is everything. If you don’t know about it, google it and get you some. I got mine off Ebay and I can’t tell you if it’s expensive or not b/c I don’t know your wallet or financial life. Google the results. I’ve only used it one time and yes I saw instant results. No I didn’t keep it on really long and I don’t know about other benefits to it. Just google, please.
